I have always loved space, science and discovery.  The Voyager 1 is mankinds first step outside our Solar System. Our first message to the stars. Our first picture of earth from 3.7 billion miles away. Like a baby’s first wobbly steps from a coffee table to the couch. We are finding our way in the universe.
Here is a bit of the inspiration for this piece Is there an Edge to the Heavens? by RadioLab. As a student of science (neuroscience, in particular) RadioLab Has continually inspired me.

‎’…there are now people on every continent, and the remotest islands. From pole to pole. From Mt. Everest to the dead sea. On the ocean bottoms, and even occassionally, in residence 200 miles up. Humans, like the gods of old, living in the sky…‎our planet, and our solar system are surrounded by a new world ocean. The depths of space. It is no more impassable than the least.’ - Carl Sagan
