2012 MIT summer internship program - That’s us! I will give a more comprehensive update when I have a little more time, but suffice it to say that I am here, working in the Tye lab, and pretty much super busy.  We had 2 days of orientation, now I have close to a week of certification and training that I have to complete, due to the nature of my lab (surgery, animals, BL2, lasers). Once that is complete, I will be a fully functional member of the lab!  My experiment is more or less imbedded within some ongoing research, so rather than working individually on a little project off to the side, I will be working right in the mix with everyone else on the larger body of work that is being conducted (this is a very good thing!).
